Default VAG COM cable.

Which ebay brand VAG com cable actually works? I want to buy one but really don't have the money to buy an original.

Thanks

if youre going to get maestro vagcom is useless unless your looking to vagcom specific things modify the way windows work. maestro will scan like vagcom. at least the ecu. im not positive on the abs, body, transmission computers

I am on the fence about maestro since there does seem to be reasonable priced tunes for just about any turbo setup. I spoke with a dealer about United Motorsports tunes and he is going to see what the cost will be to upgrade later on from one of their GT28 tunes. If it is reasonable then I will most likely go with it when also considering that UM will rework a tune if you datalog.

This is also why I am interested in VAG. As I stated my AFR is not ideal and I am driving my car gingerly at best.

How much will the Maestro actually datalog and can it reset CEL's?

Thanks

I did this for $80. Then I paid Ross-Tech $99 to activate Vag-COM. I can do anything, see live data, meauring blocks, adpaptations.
