I have an 2001 audi a6 2.8Q and need to buy a vagcom but dont know what to buy and where to buy it from... what it is used to etc... i found some on ebay but there are so many of them that i dont know which one to buy... i suppose i can hook it up with my laptop and i think i need software as well... how much it usually cost etc...

Software can be downloaded directly from Rosstech. It is a trial version but it works fine in most cases.

There is a post on this forum on how to trick it into thinking that it is a full version. Once again, my pet peeve... I am lazy, you look it up.
