hey guys, some of you probably got a "missed call" from me last night, yeah, well, that was when i was at the scene of a car accident........MY accident.

around 8:30 pm last night, i felt like taking a nice drive around portland, i took a road called Skyline road too hard and hit an ice patch in the corner, next thing, my tail end went right, then over-corrected so my tailend went left, too left that my car spun around torward the right, it kept going......and going..... and going toward the right toward something that looks like a canyon drop......or a ditch. so my car went backwards/sidways off the road, next thing i know, the car starts to turn on it's side, then upside down, then back on the other side of the car, then landed back on it's wheels and hte car stopped. looked around, no injuries to me, just a few drops of blood on my hands, then sun roof didn't crack......i think. front, side and rear windshield were GONE. my walled endup in the rear seat somehow. got out, climbed up to the street where the fire dept was waiting for me already, i guess there was a peron who saw it all, called 911 for me. i was ok. the car on the other hand......was not. i took TWO tow trucks to get it out of the 40 foot deep ditch. sorry, no pictures yet, i'm trying to get to the yard to take pix of it and get my belongings. i'll post pix when i can. as of now, no car, but looking forward to getting a new Audi.....or at least another Audi.

as for me, i'm doing well, i walked out of the accident witha few shards of glass in my knuckes, mouth and eyes. i was still picking out glass out of my eyes in the morning, but no injuries, just a few drops of blood on my hands, i'm doing fine........LIKE YOU GUYS CARE ABOUT ME ANYWAYS.......just the Audi. hee hee

and after all is said and done, i walked away with this injury on my hands........thats it........... i was a very lucky ****

 

HOLY **** NAM. Your crazy. I am glad your ok and of course were concerned about you. Out of all of the wrecks going on lately you take the cake buddy. Have a good one and get some picture asap. I bet you can't wait to get back to Cali.

 

GEEEZZZZ Nam!!!...first Richard, and now you. Very glad you came out of it ok, sounds like it was a hell of a ride...again good to hear you're ok..get back to socal quick, tell your boss that Oregon is a curse

 

Sucks to hear about your car. I would like for us to have a moment of silence while we mourn the passing of Nam's A3...

poor Nam.... i know first hand that Nam is no "grandma" behind the wheel... when ever we were out and about smashing some canyon roads i can bearly keep up with this guy.,... so it's no suprise that if you throw some ice intothe mix, he may just fly off the road...lol... just really, REALLY glad that you are ok.... that is a serious accedent and we would all be seriously lost in saddness if we would have lost you buddy....

I'm so glad you're okay. Really sorry about the car. I saw that you called, but I wake up so early that I had already gone to bed. I really hate the feeling after I have had my cars wrecked, but if you look on the bright side, you get to make the car buying choice all over again, so do a littlebit better this time, if you can. Are you sure that the car will be totalled??? I think we need to see some pictures soon. Maybe we can talk on Friday, or over the weekend? I have to be at work at 2am tomorrow, and I have one hell of a busy day.

some of the names here are very familiar from my friends audi forum i joined before. man that was one hellava accident u got there. all i understand was turn, right, left, flip and more turns. that is one car u have there not causing any injuries to u though.

 

hey guys, thanks for your concern, but to to tell you the truth, it wasn't that much of a traumatizing experience.......... maybe it really hasn't hit me yet. i got to see my car yesturday and the car was pretty much in bad shape, but for a car that flipped over complete and landed back on it's shoes, i'd say the car is in pretty good condition........... hee hee......... here's some pix for your enjoyment......

so i just got work this morning at 6:30am today that my car is a "total loss" so i guess i'll be filing and signing a lot of paper work in the next few days, and hopefully, they'll really help me out re: getting another audi........ depending on what will be given to me, i'm thinking either B6 S4, maybe even another 06 A3, or even a B5 S4......i'm thinking family car now, maybe an S4 avant?, eh.....we'll see..

Crater Lake, used to be a Volcano but blew it's top off, all the water here is only from rain, there's no run-off so the water stays blue-er than the sky, it's the deepest lake in the US, and talk about the great windy road just to get to the top of that mountain
