Since you are doing well, and your car is officially totalled, are you going to take any mods off your car? You need to get your dollar value for the mods you've put into your car. Definitely work out that with your insurance company if you don't take it with you.

Have you been to the dealership shopping yet??? Nothing like getting your interest known now and lay the foundation for a good deal.

What in the hell am I going to do now with an extra exhaust???

Oh well, at least you are planning on staying in the family. Personally, I would be looking at a new 135i, if I were you. Plenty of modding potential with that rocket, and it's about the same price as a loaded A3.

Cheers!

i'm not deserting my Audi Family, definately going for an Audi, but something more family oriented...... S4.....RS4.......older RS6....... hee hee. nah, i'm really leaning towards either a B5 or B6 S4.

and re: the mods on the car. those are totaled, i checked, from the RSB, to intake, forget the coilovers, maybe only the downpipe can be reused, but i'll talk to insurance re: claiming all that. i'll try to get my ipod integration out of there, anyone wanna show me how to take my stereo apart so i can unplug the ipod integration?

BTW, how much did Richard settle with his A3?......

oh, and since the airbags didn't deploy, maybe i should talk to Audi Headquarters and maybe settle to get something out of them since my car rolled over and no airbags deployed.

If I were in the same situation, I'd be looking at the S4 too. But, I would have a hard time not buying an A3 again. They are just too much fun to drive everyday. Now I was able to take the S5 around the California Speedway a few weeks ago and that car is the ****!!!

From what I remember about Richard's settlement, I asked the question and he answered in the thread. Maybe a search will give you the real number, but I remember it was like $29k.

I guess that I now have an APR CAT-back exhaust for sale for an A3. Anybody in the SoCal area interested???

Still glad you're doing good Nam.

Cheers!

Nam, sorry to hear that you totalled your car. You are the first person I know to roll an Audi; it figures. Glad to see you in one piece with only minor nicks. As forany glass in your eyes, make sure to rinse your eyes with saline or contact solution thoroughly to get every little bit out.

Richard and I went on a Palomar run yesterday, where there was snow at the side of the road, so we took it pretty easy. With age comes wisdom.

Glade you made it out safe. Roll overs are usually the worst but not for our Nam.

I got around 29k settlement... not bad since I got the car for around 28k b4 tax and lic. Just be sure to have recipts ready for all your Mods. If you have AAA, they will reimburse 100% of the costs which is nice. Also, you might not want to include the Software Flash [:-]

So, time to go shopping for an s2000 right? Why get a family car when you have no family? You wont get another opportunity to get a roadster until probably never. Might as well graduate to a new level properly

^ Sorry for the bad influence
