Error Code P1559
Ran a VAG-COM on my 98 B5 A4 1.8tqm with the AEB engine last night and this code popped up. It has something to do with my throttle body, but I don't remember exactly what it is. Anyone know how to deal with this? I don't have my bently manual on me right now, but I'll post a better description when I get home.
Idle Speed Contr. Throttle Pos.
Adaptation Malfunction
(Adaptation of Throttle Valve Control Module -J338- to Motronic ECM has been interrupted, e.g. the accelerator pedal was depressed or the engine was started during throttle valve control module adjustment)

Thanks for the details, but I've already got a few people giving me some input here: https://www.audiforums.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=111599
yeah. I cleaned all of the carbon off of my throttle body and it made a pretty dramatic difference in my throttle response, but my car still stutters a bit here and there so I'm pretty sure I need to manually reset the idle angle for my throttle body. tried leaving my key in the on position in my car to let it reset itself and didn't get anywhere with it. are you available sometime this week or maybe this weekend to scan my car again and reset this?
