Fun wet roads in San Jose, CA (map URL included)
Hey all,
I just had a load of fun on some very wet roads with very deep puddles in an industrial area in San Jose, CA. It's pouring rain out and the area was pretty much deserted. I didn't want to overstay my welcome and have someone call the cops on me, but if you are looking for a few minutes of fun in your quattro, I recommend these streets:
Bassett St and Terraine St.
Bassett dead-ends but there is a business there. Hardly anyone left in the parking lot when I went down there though.
Right at the intersection of Bassett and Terraine is a HUGE puddle. I had to stomp on the gas and stomp on the brakes a few times through that just for giggles.
The turn from Terraine to Devine is awesome, but don't lose it there… there IS a curb you could clip on, so don't ;-)

CAUTION!
I went down there again last night to do some 0-60 speed tests, and spotted a cop sitting in the parking lot at Basset and N San Pedro in the shadow of the bridge. Decided to go home at that point ;-)
