you mean you modded your car with thousands of dollars and not spend $700 on a low-jack system?

 

Actually, he didn't really even need to invest in the low-jack... As he was Revo chipped, an SPS Select would've done the trick.

Unfortunate he has to learn the hard way, yes... But now I'd rather we focus on trying to locate the car rather than further point out the owner's faults.

Didn't get a chance to update this prior to my leaving for vacation last week but if anyone cared to know, the car has been found.

 

how messed up was it?

 

Estimate from insurance shows its gonna be close to $13K... Interior is fairly decent (minus missing stereo stuff) but every body panel was keyed so a full re-spray is coming as well. Car should be all good by mid-August.
