Never heard of them. If you want the best from what I hear (I've only used him once for a quick CV boot replacement, and he was fast and did the job right) there is only Lupo at "Miramar Audi Porsche". But be warned, they charge $100/hr for labor...They are also about to be an authorized APR dealer.

I got my timing belt done at my main mechanic in Miramar at Banny's Auto services, they only charge me like 50$/hr (maybe even 45 i don't remember) but for complex crap like that they might take an extra hour or two to get the job done. But it was done right, I believe...I think it was like one of their first audi's, but they are competent and figured it out.

thanks what?. i had found out about lupo searching the board. i called him up for a ppi and he said he was so booked he wouldn't be able to schedule one for 9 days. by that time, the car had sold. :/ i'm positive i could use the mechanic i've been going to for years. but, like your friends at banny's, i don't think they know a lot about a audis. i'd rather have the ppi done by someone who knows their audi stuff. i may have to just keep trying lupo and hope a car doesn't sell before the appointment.

My dad bought a '99 A4 from Lusti a few years ago and said it was a very good experience. Can't speak for the technicians, but my dad was happy with their sales people and the price, and his car has been very trouble free for many years now....

Hope that helps...
