I am considering a purchase of a TT 1.8 2005. Problem is it has a branded title in CA under the Lemon Law, so I was told. It might have had something to do with the instrument cluster lawsuit, I don't know. I do not understand the branding concept. How careful do I need to be here and are there other issues of which I should be made aware e.g. transmission, engine, turbo problems or failures. My wife and I love the car. Where can I find detqailed explanations of the inner workings of the tranny and engine?
