Just picked up an '03 one-owner Allroad and would like a little more tire under it and would like the stance a little wider to fill out the wheel wells.

This will be used in sand on the beach, snow in the mountains, along with daily driving.

Will 20mm spacers with stock wheels be too much? Want them flush with flares if possible.

Also for tires, looking at 235/55R-17's or if possible, a Cooper Discovery in 235/60R-17 for a more aggressive tread. This tire is a little over 28" tall. Will that have major interference issues being bout 1.5" taller than stock?

Just don't know how much tire these can handle and don't want to find out the hard way(!).
