Alignment or Tire Damage?

Alignment or Tire Damage?
I have a 09 A4. Slid on black ice going 15-20 mph this weekend and hit the curb parallel (meaning both wheels hit the curb almost simultaneously) on the passenger side of the car. Steering alignment feels fine afterwards, other than scratches on the rims no other visible damage. Front tire makes a noise now and slight vibration that comes with each rotation.
I have to drive to the airport tomorrow morning - about 40 miles on highway. Is it safe to drive? Given the speed and angle that I hit the curb (parallel instead of head on), should I be worried about any suspension damage?
I planned to get it checked out by dealership when I return home.

It would be better to check the lug nuts of the wheels before you plan to travel further. It is not possible to predict the damage to the suspension, but probably they're fine. If you have already planned to move the car to a dealership, at the moment just check the wheel nuts and re-tighten them, so that they won't trouble you for the time being.
