Good evening. My ‘08 b7 OE tires are 235/45/17. Using tiresize.com, I’ve found several alternative sizes. I’d like a hair more width and a little less sidewall. That said, I like the 255/40/17. It will increase width by 7/10” and reduce sidewall by 2/10”.

Curious if others have used alt tire sizes, what you do/don’t like, and specifically if you’ve used 255/40/17 in lieu of 235/45/17.
