I've looked everywhere for an answer to my question but so far no luck. Hopefully someone here can help.

I have an Audi A4 TDi Avant S Line (2007) with 18-inch tyres (R18) but I hate the hard ride they give and am fed up with the side walls ripping on curb stones.

Can I change my wheels and tyres for 16 inch? Or even 17 inch?

I just want fatter tyres to soften the ride a bit and am not bothered by looks.
