Nail in tire : Purchase new tire or get it repaired?
Hi All,
After inspecting,I found a nail in my 2014 Audi A4 rear left tire and there's an air leak. I figured it out after filling air 3 times within last 24 hrs. Since my car is one year old and tires are not that old
1) Would you recommend me to get the tire repaired from some tire shop?
2) Should I consider purchasing new tire. I believe Good Year tires costs around $200-$300.
3) I have AAA as well as Audi Road Side Assistance, should I consider driving my car to the dealership(if I decide to purchase a new tire) or to the tire repair shop or should I ask AAA or Audi Roadside Assistance
to remove the tire and then take the tire to either of the above two.
4) Any good car service shop to get this done in Costa Mesa, California?
Thanks

i got wall punctures before and patched them myself (knowing not to) and drove on it (mph high and low 0-130) without ever having problems....i know everyone says its super bad and horrible to do but if you stick it right you will be fine!!!! i would save tire for backup
