Default Problem with 19s

Hey Guys, I just picked my 98 A6 3 weeks back. Its a beautiful car but the previous owner(my friend) had replaced the stock 16" tires with 19" tires from 04 A8. I don't think he changed ne springs, shocks or did nething with suspension. The tires r low profiles. The car drives nice its just that it kinda rough & hitting tiny pot hole makes u feel like u hit a crater. But then that might be coz of the low pro tires.

I wanted to know if i should do nething with springs or shocks which he just ignored. Also he had put spacers & my mechanic told me that there was no need of spacers as tire just fit in fine so he took them off. The only thing being that now if i turn the steering all the way in one direction tire hits fender or something. I am attaching a pic so that u guys can see & give me some input on wat is best to do. Thanks,

U can roll the fenders to achieve more space to turn ur wheel. Spacers are just there for looks. It wont hurt anything if u have em on. Did u rub when u had the spacers on or only when u took em off.
