problem with tires
i have a 2002 Audi A6 2.7t, Here's the problem:
The inside wall of the front two tires wear out realy bad, and i notice it that they have to be hitting something when i turn at 35+ mph. I took it to a tire place and they said that it was the alignment, but they did it, and the problem still there. When the car is not moving, the tires don't hit anything. I don't know if this is a common thing that happens to Audis. Does anybody knows?

Has the A6 been lowered? Any time you lower a vehicle the negative camber increases although an alignment should identify that.
You may be due to replace some suspension parts like the shocks or springs because it's compressing too much which causes the rubbing. If you have the OE shocks on they have probably have had a good life and it's time to update.

I've done Alignment and the mechanic said that it should be fine. The alignment is fine, but something is rubbing it when i'm driving it in curves. Yea, probably the springs or shocks, ha, thanks for replying, ill take a look at that. This is my second set of tires i'm going to put on my Audi.
I didn't know that a bad shock could do that.
