Default Tire pressure. ?

Hello everyone, I have a question:

The tires on my Audi say 44 psi max. Do I have to go to the max or can I go lower than that and have a good gas mileage too?

Go with the tire pressure that is annotated on the placard on the pillar inside your driver's door or in your owner's manual, typically around 33-35 psi.

The rating molded on the tire itself is the maximum pressure the tire is rated for.

btw: going with a higher pressure may slightly increase your gas mileage, but at the expense of uneven tread wear and poor handling.
