I personally have enjoyed both Continentals and Bridgestones on my A4. Of course, you couldn't really go wrong with Michelin either.

A4 Tires
I have purchased the last 6 sets of tires from Tire Rack. It is a great way to go. Plug in your tire size or Vehicle and look at all you options. IMO tread wear ratings is a good place to start and then read ALL reviews on that tire.
