I just bought a set of wheels with winter tires on eBay. I know that the other measurements fit, but the offset is 34, which isn't within the 35-45 range stated for an Audi A4 of my year... I should have checked before bidding, but you know... time was ticking and the price was good even for tires!!

Will they fit? And if so, will the performance be compromised if it is outside the 35-45 range?

My other option is to take the good tires off my current rims and put them on the wheels that I KNOW fit well.
