I have a 2001 A6 4.2 and have already replaced the hazard switch. It was making a loud shorting out sound at random times when parked and on bumpy or smooth roads. Its starting to happen again, about 8K miles later with the new OEM switch. I looked into the dash with the radio removed at the harness and I couldn't find a bare or damaged wire anywhere. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.
