Question about a4 cvt modding

Default Question about a4 cvt modding

so is it risky to mod a cvt transmission with a chip or other mods? ive had this car for 6 months and its flawless.. ive read about problems with cvt transmissions so i dont know wut i should do. should i mod it? or sell it and buy a manual ? is it true that quattro dont have the cvt? sorry im very new to audi and the forums

Quattro doesn't have cvt. The cvt is crap even under stock power.

so wut ur trying to say is i should probably sell my car since its cvt before its too late? =(

Yea i agree with Shane.... your going to have tranmission issues about 70 - 100k in mileage without "modding" anything.

im only at 47K ill probably sell it by 60K so no point in modding it i guess
