valve cover leak on 99.5 2.8

Default valve cover leak on 99.5 2.8

ok i had a post but cant find it. i just bought this car and changed the oil to mobil on 10-30w? now both valve covers are leaking.. called audi gaskets are like 130 bucks each.. wtf so aftermarket? any difference? do you know were the best deal to get them are? and any tools i need. looks just like a 10mm bolt. also in my last post i asked do i need to drain the oil since heads sit on a slant? and any secrets thanks? any people in indy,indiana

ECStuning.com - gasket sets are $25 per side. The job is easy. You don't have to drain the oil. Use 1/4" drive tools for the job - having a swivel and extensions helps a ton. The gaskets will appear to be too long but they're the right ones. Make sure to clean the mating surfaces and that the gaskets are properly aligned as you seat the covers. Be careful undoing the PCV breathers from the covers as they break easily, and have vacuum line on hand to fix the one from the evap canister that runs up along the front and top of the driver side cover. You WILL break it.

sooo i took it to a mom and pops audi place and here is the list v/c gaskets, some cam thing is leaking also, coolent res is gonna blow, never heard that but ok. outer tie rod is bad,some hydrolic mount is bad, says this is why it clunks when hitting gas or going to D R from N, output shaft seal is leaking and timing tens is bad so this eqauls 2700 he says to fix everything.. ugh why did i buy an audi
