my gas guage will sit in one spot for 20-50 miles then drop 1/4 a tank for a lil while then go up a 1/8 a tank and keep doing this until it is empty ... it reads fairly accurate but it moves around so werird like ... its not accurat to the 1/16 but its accurate as to giving an esstimate .... any one else have this issue .... i have a 98 2.8l a4 manual quattro

 

mine did some funky stuff for a while, but I got all the codes clears and something bout the guages recalibrated and it went away. I know jest had to replace his sending unit on his old b5
