Power Windows... on the way out?
Hey guys,
I noticed whenever I close my driver side window, it makes a "clunk" noise when it closes - like as soon as it gets into the soft part at the top. It literally makes a "clunk" noise, sounds like its coming from right under the locking mechanism/led alarm light.
Anyone have any similar problems or thoughts?
Thanks.

Pop the door skin off, and work the switch... see what is making the noise and go from there.
To get the door skin off, you have to take off all the visible screws (might only be one or two) ... just follow the border of the door skin... I think it is just one at each corner.
Also, underneath the door handle (the handle in the arm rest, NOT the lever) there are 2 more screws. You have to pop out a plastic thing to get at the screws. Then, when all 4 (i think) screws are out, you can just grab the handle, and LIFT, the door skin will slide up and over the little door lock **** thing, and you'll be free. Then get workin the window switch, and see whats up.
