I was the one that said it was rare. I said that because the premature timing belt failure was mainly (as the article in the link you posted states) for 97-99 models. The 2000 and up models come with the updated tensioner which is why I said it is rare, because you are talking about a 2001 model... and I explained this exactly in my reply in your previous thread.
