A4 1.8T quattro chipped w/ exhaust

So im on my way home the other day with a friend and we get off the highway and were going down this prolly 40mph long straight road that im familiar withand i see this mustang stickin behind a junker car, so the mustang pulls out to pass the crap car and so do I. As were both passing, he guns it so i do the same, he switches back to the rightlane and i stay in theopposite lane (not smart i know). I stupidly shifted to 5th doin about100 but it doesnt matter i pulled in right lane ahead of him after pulling ahead about 1.5 cars. And hes still trying to catch me. I think we were at about 110 when i had to slow down for a car in front of me.

When it went to dotted lines again the pustang flew bye me and gave me one of those tough guy looks. Never talked to the kids in the Pustang (i hate them) but i dont think it was stock it sounded nasty.

 

Uhm, are you sure the Mustang was a GT?? Because if it was, it should've raped your car.

 

Yeah, you've never raced a GT before, and you probably don't even own an Audi.

 

My brothers car sounds nasty too and it has cobra emblems all over it. But its just a v6 with a exhaust. I told him he is a douche for doing that cause now all the civic guys are gonna be like, " i beat a cobra" and then wanna race everything.

Yeah.. I was wondering if it was truely a GT also... I didnt think to look for GT side vents but it had badges.

Give the guya break...we all know it wasn't a GT....and racing in traffic is stupid...but ****, its not like all of you have never raced in traffic before. Welcome dude....out of this whole forum, this is prolly the least likely place to BS cuz everybody always calls people out, which is good so keep it real. And if your going to do something dumb, don't post it here...best advice I can give ya...

 

in all honesty, i just don't see the point of street racing? It is a bunch of young kids with licenses. It takes them killing someone or killing themselves for the younger generation of people to finally figure out : "Hey, doing + the SL isn't smart?!" I'm not dissin you or anyone else, I've had a few runs in my 240, but shortly after you realize wtf?! I could've hit someone, killed someone, killed myself, wrecked my car, blew the engine, shot the trans, BEEN BUSTED BY POLICE. Its stupid. If you want to drive fast, go to a track. SIMPLE.

Obviously it wasn't a GT. But he doesn't know that.. and big effing deal he did one pull to 110 on a freeway. Its not very hard to hold a car straight at those speeds especially on a freeway... as long as there wasn't much traffic that wasn't a big deal. Everytime you do make the decision to do that your risking a hefty ticket, and I think at 100+ they take your *** to jail. So chilll out with the hard *** talk vnv and cyber
