Default I thought my timming belt broke

My car diedI was driving low oil came on and i pulled over and added a quart of oil checked it all good so i thought. Yes I added the correct oil. I was back on the highway I herd a ticking before I could get to the side of the road it died. Itwould not start sounded like it did not have compression. I got it home and started troubleshooting I found that it had oil all over the outside of the #1 spark plug. I took off the timming belt cover and it was fine looked good even. I took off the valv cover and saw it had melted plastic on and in the timming chain see picture. I will take the head off after I eat lunch. I will also take more pictures along the way. I thought I could get or give some advice.
