not sure the cylinder number but it is the second one back from the front of the car

i replaced the plugs and put in a new coil for that cyclinder but still same issue

i swapped it with one that works and i am still getting no spark im looking for clues be for a check the whole wiring harness for breaks

Cylinder number 2.

What year is your car? If you own a ndbw it is most likely the coil controller which you will find sitting on the stock air box.

When it goes bad it always seems to be #2 cylinder that misfires or no longer has spark.

is the coil controller the same as a ignition control module?

yes ignition control module. swap your coil packs around, if the misfire stays in cyl#2 then you have a bad ICM. if it moves to a new cylinder, then that is the bad coil pack.

Just make sure you get the better version since IIRC there are 2 versions on the market.
