Buying a 2003 Audi A4 3.0 v6 quattro **advice please**
Good Day to all,
I am considering purchasing a 2003 Audi A4 3.0 with 150k miles on it. Great detailed history of maintenance and recently had the timing belt and water pump replaced.
First time potential Audi owner here and am looking for advice on if this is something I should go forward on and what to look for that may push me to walk away from it.
I drive short distances, 1.5-3.0 miles a shot. I could get the wife to drive it occasionally on the highways to even out the hardships of short drive times. Is this motor or even Audi cars itself reliable for this type of driving.
Any and all responses would be great.
Thanks for your time, have a good day.

The "AVK" 3.0 was always considered an improvement over the previous 2.8 V6s, but they are substantially more difficult(and expensive!!) to repair during regular maintenance and when things go wrong. But please don't get me wrong, I know several high mileage 3.0 owners that maintain and swear by them. And as always, a thorough inspection by a local Audi specialist can go a long way when considering any pre-owned Audi purchase.

Thank you UberTeile for the response. I appreciate the info.
I've decided to not buy the vehicle. It had some electrical iusses and then engine wasn't running well and while driving it to the Audi dealer the low oil light began dinging and didn't smell all that well when I arrived. Funny the Audi consultant that came out and had the perfect look on his face. The something stinks look...He was happy to have it moved back out =).
