Default 1991 audi 80 quatro

Looking for information about how to r-r heater core on audi 80, 1991 .I understand this is an involved, are their any short cuts?

John.....i have done it on an '89 80 which is the same procedure. Sorry but there's no shortcuts. You're gonna have to take out the center console starting from the back ashtray and then get the dash out. there is no way to replace the heater core without taking out the dash. after that you will have to take out the center air ducts on the floor and you should be able to get to the heater core. make sure to take off the nuts on the firewall in the engine bay before trying to take it out. then have fun putting your car back together! I would strongly recommend having an assistant.....</P>

I've got a related problem. 1990 100Q. I get good heat, a/c doesn't work, but that's not what I'm concerned with. I get heat fine, but even on high with only one vent open it's not putting out with very much force. Is this a comomn problem? Is that just how they're made? Thanks.
