Turns out guy was trying to rip me off. The car has a bad headgasket and is leaking coolant into the cylinder. He added a chemical to the coolant to prevent white smoke from coming out the exhaust. He made up some lies about the check engine light coming on due to the gas cap. I am glad I did the research on this car and thanks for your help but I won't be buying this one.
