I recently took of the door panels to install some speakers into them which it did not already have but I found this module that had one of the plugs disconnected from. I took it out and cleaned it and reattached it. While I was putting the panel back I could smell like something burning. So I had put in the part # on google and said something about heated door locks so I had taken the plug that I had put back on off. And the Door lock was really hot and almost burnt myself. Just wanted to know if there is a problem with the module and how are you supposed to use them. I took off the plug thinking the previous owner probably took it too but dont know how or what about the whole heating up thing. Some one please give me some info on this please.
