You need to get a Bentley manual for your car. For the B4 90's (1993-1995) a paper manual does not exist. The Bentley manual is CD-ROM based and costs around $100. Sorry, no way around it.

Nitrobrain, I second the motion on getting a Bentleys. That will additionally give you access to the Bentley's website. Also, go to this site http://www.12v.org/maintenance/repairs/frontsusp.phpand read up on everything. I've read some of your other posts and you seem to needmore general knowledge about how your car works. That site will help a lot and it is easy to understand. For the axle job, expect to buy some tools, like a good torque wrench, a large socket for the axle bolt, andpossibly a triple square bit for the drive flange bolts.Again, read up on it, think through and rehearse every step before you doit, torque everything to specifications, and be safe.

Go to this site, like I told you BEFORE, and scroll down to Drive Axel. http://www.12v.org/maintenance/repairs/frontsusp.php In short, take your front tires off, remove the center cap from the wheel, put the wheel back on, put the car back on the ground. Break free the main axel bolts, but don't remove them. Jack the car, remove the wheels, remove the brakes and hang them without tension on the brake line, remove the discs, disconnect the ball joints, probably have to disconnect the tie rod ends, take out the axel bolt you loosened and remove the strut from the outer CV joint. Depending on the type of inner CV flange bolts, remove them using a triple square or appropriate socket (this is usually not a torx so don't be confused and don't strip them out using the wrong tool!!).The axel will now be in you hand. Reinstall the new one and torque everything to spec, replacingwith NEW, the ball joint bolt and nut, the tie rod nut, and the new axel bolt thatcame with the new axels. So you didn't trust me enough to go to http://www.12v.org/maintenance/repairs/frontsusp.phpthe first time I mentioned it? That site is GREAT!!!If you can't follow those instructions........,well, not to be mean, but..
