Brake Fluid Leaking Problem

Default Brake Fluid Leaking Problem

Hello Guys,

I have a 1990 Audi V8 Quattro sedan 2 days ago i found out brake fluid is leaking under near where the gearbox is on drivers side im hoping it's only a split hose nothing to serious anyone had same problem or close??? I getting a mechanic to have a look at it on Monday by the way.

Yeah it's a Auto i found out some new info found out it's my hydraulic pump for the power steering thats making the fluid leak reckon i could get mine rebuilt?

yes, there is a seal kit made for it. I would check with the local dealer....they may even give you an old one turned in for warranty..lol, ya never know!!!

from personal experience, I never found any seals that would work 100% in brakes or clutches, all of them leak. no matter how new rubber is.
this stuff should be new.
the inside of the cylinder get scratched and that leaks not the rubber. if the inside is good then seals should work.
