I have a 93 Audi 90S. Yesterday i heard a crunching noise as i rolled down the drivers side window. Today when i rolled the window down it won't come back up!! Can someone please walk me through the steps to fix my window, even if it means sticking a piece of wood in the door panel. I live in Florida and we are going through a rainy season.

Please help!!!!!

 

Where in FL, I'm in Bradenton? You need to take the door panel off and see what broke. It's probably the cablethat has frayed and jamed the main pulley. If that's the case, then you need to disconnect the window from the lift and cut a peice of wood to fit snugly in there or get a new regulator which comes with the motor for about $230.00.

 

Do you have a diagram as to how to take the panel off? I am in Daytona Beach.

 

If you are going to keep the car buy the Bentley manual. Its well worth the cost. Also some guy on this site is parting out a 90s. Make him an offer. Good luck
