The car is rather nice, for a 1992 with 140K. Seems to have been well maintained. But the radio doesn't work so I was going to swap it for a standard Pioneer CD/Radio in another car. I bought the harness and antenna adaptor, but I read on here something that leads me to think this won't be a simple swap. Am I in for a nightmare? Will the unit work with the factory amp?
One other question: when servicing the automatic trans, do I need to buy a kit that has the pan or will just a filter do? Car has the V6 BTW.
Thanks for any advice!

filter and a pan gasket sould be plenty ..... and the radio install depends of your wireing skills and ability to understand wireind diagrams

Thanks for the reply. Regarding the stereo, a local car audio shop will sell some $50 gizmo that supposedly will allow me to replace the Bose Gamma head unit with any old DIN CD/radio unit. I've read mixed reviews about these (and now I can no longer find online where I read them).
