Default Airbags to springs?

Hi there, I'm thinking of getting an Allroad but I have a question. Is there a kit to replace the airbags with springs? Do some Allroads come with springs?

They all have the air suspension, if you are gonna want springs, just get a A6 avant, it is the same car really!
I dont think there are kits but i am sure you can do it, i wouldnt though. The air suspension is the best part. Why do you want to change them?

Well I come from the off road world of Land Rovers. They are known for failing airbags and faulty compressors. Most, who have any sense, change out the airbags to springs.

I'm looking for a better gear hauler and I've always loved the Allroads. I'm really just wondering about teh reliability of the airbags.

Yea, getting an avante would make more sense if I want to avoid the airbags... Good point

in my experience, i have come to conclusion that any car with air suspension has one problem, and its not the airbags, its the lines going to the compressor that fail. I have not heard of any problems with my year with the airbags. i think the 2001 had some complaints but the 02's were better.
