Default cold air intakes

I've been thinking about getting a cold air intake for a 2001 Audi AR 2.7T. i know APR makes quality stuff, but couldn't find anything on an APR cold air intake. Does anyone else have any experience/recommendations in regards to installing/purchasing one?

I've read the return on the money invested on a stock or slightly modified motor is not worth the money

If the air is coming from inside the engine compartment, how cool could the air be?

this is true the audi airbox design is pretty good as it sits, almost like a ram air system imo. If you get an intake make sure it comes with/look for one with a heat shield, the engine bay tends to get hot with spirited driving.
