Default Help/Advice Please

So i have a couple problems and would greatly appreciate all of your help asap!
2001 allroad - 2.7t - 92,200ish miles

1) a couple of months ago my uncle and I replaced an oxygen sensor in my car. banks II sensor I i think it was (cant remember exactly) the front sensor on the passenger side of the vehicle. I had a "mil" light and took it in for a scan, sensor was bad, the place i bought the car from paid for and sent me the new sensor, which was very generous of him to do, cool guy actually. but we changed the sensor, the "mil" light cleared, took it back in, no codes were present. Now 2 weeks ago i took it back in to get it scanned again at our local aamco. pretty much one of the few places where i am from that i could get it scanned.
And their scanner pulled up

Banks II Sensor I
Resistance Too High

Does anyone know what that means?

2) Last wed. when i was moving down to school i randomly looked down at the instrument cluster and noticed my engine temp was almost all the way to 'H'. So i called my mom in front of me and told her to pull over. we stopped, i let it sit, opened the hood to check all the fluids, oil was ok, coolant was at operating level, i noticed my audi hydraulic fluid dip stick was showing low so i need to get that taken care of right away. But there was no apparent smell that anything was burning up. So i got back in, turned the car on, turned the heater all the way up, and the temp dropped back down to normal so i continued the 30 mins i had to go to get to school.

Following day i drove all around town running errands and no trouble, no over heating, i was gettin on it around some back roads and no troubles.

Day after that get back in it, drive away after letting it warm up, temp shoots back up, so i blasted the heater again to get it to suck out hot air so i can get back home. Now its just been sitting for 2 days.

Please help on this!?!?!?! any advice would be greatly appreciated.

3) what should the car be idling at, like when its in gear at a stoplight in drive? just curious.

Sorry its so long guys, but i figured i'd give all info. i could. Look forward to hearing back, kinda need to get it fixed asap

a shop here in corvallis (where i go to school at Oregon State University) told me more than likely its the thermostat. although he didnt look at it. if it is thermo. its 30 for the part, and 500 f*ckin dollars for labor since the thermo is behind the timing belt.

as for the fans, im pretty sure they are all working? i havent heard or not heard any working??? ill have to take a closer look listen tomorrow when its light out

this sucks. cuz the term just started today. my parents just paid mine and my sisters tuition and want me to take care of the car. since it has 92,000 on it the timing belt and water pump might as well be replaced as well since they have to take the timing belt off to replace the thermostat. but they quoted me at 1050 - 1100 for all that to get done. why couldnt this happen in the summer when i didnt just pay for rent and all other **** at school

the car should idle slightly below 1000rpm while stopped at a light.
i had a coolant leak problem with the secondary water pump. but the engine's thermostat never read higher than its usual spot (halfway between the H and C). did you happen to get the engine coolant warning?
