Brand new to the site. I have an 01 Allroad (with a stage one Hoppen Motor Sport chip) and have had no luck with a consistent low frequency vibration at 35-45 mph. It is felt through the whole car not stearing. Had one wheel re-trued, purchased another new, had the allignment done by two dealers and a third party, had a new sealed bearing put on the right front wheel, went through three types of tires since January all to try to resolve everyone's "opinion" of the problem. NO LUCK!!! Any help out there??

This is a problem that I (and many others) am dealing with right now. I brought mine to the dealer on Wednesday and they still have it today. They are going to replace the tires and try some other things if that does not work. I will keep you posted...you do the same.

 

sounds like a prop shaft problem it might need balancing if its been used off road

 

Thanks for the feedback. No off roading in this car Dave. I did hit a monster pot hole that required a harness allignment back in January that seemed to be the start of the vibration problem. This is driving me NUTS!! I just won a lawsuit against VW America for $15,000.00 due to all the problems I have had with this car but figured I would try to hold on to it now and drive it 'till it conks out. I had an S4 and the AllRoad but am about to drive it off a cliff and buy an M5.
