A petty annoyance with my AR is that it won't unlock all doors with a single touch of the unlock button. Does anyone know how to program the AR to unlock everything on the first touch ?

Does anyone know how to turn off the obnoxious seat belt chime ? Going back to the days of Lucas equiped Brit cars, I don't put on my seat belt until after the car is started and I check for flames. Can't break the habit after 40 years.

 

You have to have a Vag-Com tool to program the computer to unlock all doors. You might ask the dealer if they would be kind enough to do it for you, or invest in one yourself from ross-tech.com. I think the seatbelt chime you are going to have to live with.

 

Yeah, unfortunately you will have to live with the seatbelt chime...Audi has too many lawyers to allow someone to disable that. The computers are so sophisticated it would be less of a headache to just buckle up! =-)
