Default Offroad, Quattro and wheel spin

The great thing about having the allroad is to head out on a old dirt road to get to some out of the way spot. What has happened a few times is I get wheel spin when i pull off the road to park. Basiclly I'm going from the dirt road to the left side at about a 45 degree angle and over a low spot (ditch sort of) and up on to the bank. The left rear wheel runs out of grip then spins and the car almost comes to a halt. Hmmm not what I'm expecting from my Audi. It seems like my right rear should still push me thru the low spot and up on the bank. It must have something to do with the angle/grip and the differential. Turning off the ESP didn't help. I don't want to get stuck and have a subaru pull me out.
