I think this is more a general motoring question but figure somebody out here could help me. I have recently received a 2008 1.8 TFSI A3 from the company.
I slowly drove the car in for the first 1500 - 2000 km. Now i'm driving more aggresively. I'm accelerating off the mark but as there's quite a lot of power compared to the weight it's very easy to wheel spin. Only problem is there is a pretty nasty thumping sound from the front when i wheel spin. Front wheel drive.
It doesn't sound healthy, i'm wondering if i'm just putting to much stress on the front axle?

Any tips how best to accelerate off the mark?
