i dont know about the mirror but mine does the same. Call audi and see if they can tell you how. I like the direction on mine and plan on keeping that way. The front wheels brake the hardest producing the most brake dust so thats why the fronts get dirty like hell.
Price seems on par. i got mine for 17 last year and its a 02.
