I need a transmission for my 2001 Allroad 2.7T 6MT. I have been searching for a used one, but Allroad 6MT's are very rare. On the flip side, there are a plethora of S4 6MT available. I have been told that I could use the trans out of an S4 but that I would need the matching rear differential and possibly the drive shaft/torque tube (not sure). That's what I trying to get clearification on--what exactly would I need to make an S4 6MT work in my Allroad. I need a parts list so I can start pricing/sourcing. If it can work, I'd rather do that, as my other option is to rebuild my transmission, which I will do anyways, but that will probably be a long project for me as I haven't rebuilt one yet and I'd rather just get the car back on the road asap.

Any help and/or insight would be greatly appreciated.
