I have a 2001 allroad, the transmission is going on it, and I was wondering if anyone has been able to locate a used/rebuilt one on-line. I was also wondering if the transmission is the same for the allroad as it is for the A6.

I am curious as to how you knowyour transmissionis going. I also have a 2001 All-Road.It hasa torque converter error message, I believe P1074 is the error code, that has been on for the last 13,000 miles. The dealer recommended replacing it immediately for $4000, but the car is not leaking and I cannot detect any difference in the shifting etc.., so for now I continueletting it go since the car now has 114,000 miles.
