I'd check the.......
the underside of the oil filler cap for sludge deposites. You'd be surprised at what you can learn, just from looking at the underside of the oil filler cap. Also, check the front and rear airbags and run the suspension through all 4 heights (listen for the compressor to be sure it isn't running on). If you have a VCDS (Vag-Com), you should check for the usual TDC's and be sure to check the Tip Trans TCU for codes. Ask the seller for receipts to prove that the timing belt, water pump, etc...have been replaced. Also, ask for receipts on any service involving trans flush and regular oil changes, SYNTHETIC????? (of course, some people do the general maintainence, themselves, in which case, you'll have to decide whether, or not, to take him/her at their word). Check the tail pipes for carbon, too. The car looks nice enough, but he/she doesn't list the options (from looking at the wheels, I would guess it's the standard model???)
I checked the kelly Blue Book in my zip code (95023) and the 2002 Allroad in "Excellent" condition suggested retail is $7,950.00, so you may want to make him a low offer to start and see where he/she comes back with a counter offer.
Anyway, if you don't have VCDS (Vag-Com), I'd invest in it now, because you'll need it with the Audi Allroad, sooner, or later, anyway.
Best of luck to yah!!
