Need to replace the polished aluminum bezel with insets for "P, R, N, D, S" and "- / +." The rest of my interior is perfect but for some reason the previous owner dinged the heck out of this piece. The dealer wants $$$ to replace it. Anyone have one from a car being dismantled that is perfect or near perfect? I'd also like to replace the wood trim around it. Car interior is light beige, wood is valcona (orange, birdseye maple-like wood). Any help will be greatly appreciated. Call 773 205 4651 after 6:30 pm, CST or 847 875 1196 during the day.

 

Just brush it with steel wool...cool look and never worry about scratches again...check audiworld.com for how-to and pics of finished look...you cant go wrong...they all scratch.
