SHift bezel
The shift bezel scratches very easily, and is very expensive to replace (since it also contains the circuit board for the tiptronic). You couldtry to brush the finish, which I did on my previous car and I have done for several folks for their Audis. The last time I did one (allroad), I did a tech writeup so others could do the same thing. I am not sure what kind of car you have, but here it the writeup:

FYI - On the A6, if feels like plastic, but it is really solid aluminum. I think it is true for all audis. Feels cheap, but it is not.

I just replaced my bezel in my 02 allroad w/ tiptronic. The bezel came by itself (no circuit board) and cost $250. It was really easy to do, and this article helped:

This applies whether you want to try removing the scratches or replace it. Read the whole thing before starting, the person who wrote the article screws up a lot.
