im new to this forum, i have a 99 a4 1.8T and i wanted to know what i have to change to u[grade the rear brakes into the rotors that look like the fronts. not the stock thin thin rotor.

ive seen one in the city i live in once. but never got a chance to ask the owner.

anyone know what i have to change or buy to to this? im sure its just a staock swap from a stock something else. im pretty sure it was on a b5 S4.

Well the S4 has beefier rear brakes than the A4 anyhow, so you may have seen either stock S4 brakes, or an S4 with upgraded (as in drilled or slotted maybe?) rotors. The S4 rear brakes can be fitted to the A4 - you'll need pads, rotors, calipers (and possibly caliper carriers as well).

 

icc... they werent cross drills or anything. just looks like normal vented rotors. hmmm ..
